Like every year, on the occasion of the festival of La Mercè, the city hosts a cultural gift show of a guest city.
This year, Montreal was the guest city, and commissioned the company MOMENT FACTORY, to prepare a multimedia show on the Sagrada Familia‘s façade of the “birth”.
The Canadian creative team created a story of light and video-mapping on the facade entitled “L’Ode à la vie” (“Ode to Life”) which had the theme the creation of the world with different stages, as creation of the universe, the sun, the sea, the earth and life in all its forms.
The show that had a duration of 20 minutes was screened on 21st, 22nd and 23rd September on 4 times each day attended by over 32,000 people.
Albadalejo was the company responsible for supplying and installing the lighting equipment for the show being composed of:
